Trip 2: 7 km with Rapids & Visiting 2 Caves

A great combination: see Tham Lod and another undeveloped cave, and paddle 7 km of fun river rapids on the scenic Nam Lang. Stop inside Tham Lod to see the amazing river tunnel and side caverns, and take some awesome photographs with the guides’ powerful lights.

If river levels are low, a 3 km option is possible.

Every Lang River trip starts from Cave Lodge and passes through Lod Cave. Everyone sits with an expert guide in a 2-person kayak – no experience is needed, just a sense of adventure. Every trip includes truck pickup back to Cave Lodge, life jackets, helmets, shoes to borrow, dry bags or barrels, torches, big lights for the cave, and fun local guides who know what they are doing. Safety and enjoyment are our main concerns.

The kayak trips available depend on the river level. If the water is too low, the trip will be changed to suit the situation.
